About us

OTS is dedicated to providing troubled adolescent girls with an alternative living environment. Our home offers a structured environment designed to develop positive social skills and social competence, foster moral skills and development which are related to reducing risk taking Behavior & Promoting academic success as well as healthy interpersonal relationships to become self-sufficient or successful family reunification.

The Girls
  • 12-15: Staff are trained to work with 12 to 15 year old girls in the home on “soft” skills such as anger management, problem solving, decision making, & daily living skills. Daily living skills include cooking, laundry, & money management.
  • 16-18: Eligible for formal Life skills classes. The curriculum includes: instruction on employment, money management, community resources, housing & education.

Medical/Treatment

  • Upon entry each child work with receives community medical, dental, & mental health providers to insure the child’s needs are met. This includes scheduling appointments, keeping immunizations current, and addressing any corrective or follow-up medical or dental care that the child needs. Licensed therapist will work with the girls regularly.

School

  • Each girl will attend school. All academic progress will be monitored closely. Tutors will be onsite as needed.
