Option to Success Inc is committed to creating a seamless and compassionate continuum of care behavioral health services across the Kentucky area, coordination residential care with community-based treatment services. Through a community of providers collaborating to promote recovery and the overall mental and physical well-being of those we have the privilege to serve. It is the policy of Option to Success to have a trauma-informed system for all persons served and shall ensure that the following elements are provided:

STANDARDS

To ensure a trauma informed system, standards have been developed and are required to meet the stated policy.

1.Safety of Staff and Clients : Throughout the organization Option to Success maintains an environment where staff and all persons served feel physically and psychologically safe

2 Trustworthiness & Transparency: Organizational operations and decisions are conducted with transparency and the goal of building and maintaining trust among staff, clients and family members of those receiving services.

3.Peer Support: These are integral to the organizational and service delivery approach and are understood as a key vehicle for building trust, establishing safety and empowerment.

4.Collaboration and Mutuality: Option to Success will have true partnering and leveling of power differences between persons serve, families and staff. There is recognition that healing happens in relationships and in the meaningful sharing of power and decision-making. Option to Success recognizes that everyone has a role to play in a trauma-informed approach.

5.Empowerment: Option to Success will maintain an environment that recognizes the strength on all persons served. These strengths will be built on and validated and new skills developed as necessary. The organization aims to strengthen the staff, person served and family members experience of choice and recognize that every person’s experience is unique and requires an individualized approach.
